Job Description:

Onwards Media Group is looking for a Sales Director to help sell our video software solutions and grow our new U.S. operation.  You will be responsible for delivering on revenue targets and growing a Sales team.  Work with a growing and nimble organization, and help shape the strategy of how we reach the U.S. market!

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the U.S. Sales team, including presales support (Sales Engineers, Project Managers, etc.)
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and forecasting opportunities, closing business, and all the way to account management and expansion
  • Work with Marketing team on lead generation and targeted campaigns
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets each quarter

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years related experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the video software space or a related field
  • Bring on-board rich network of video software related partners and prospects
  • Experience in enterprise or broadcast sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically around client interaction skills
  • Strong relationship building skills, existing industry relationships a plus
  • Travel domestically and internationally when needed

Presales Solutions Consultant

Job Description:

Set the first impression as our PreSales Solution Consultant! This exciting role is critical in communicating product functionality to clients through presentations and demonstrations through marketing and sales execution for all ONWARDS product solutions automation platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Pre-Sales Support - Coordinate technical and other resources as appropriate to create and nurture deals through sales process and assist in Quote, Proposal, RFP response and other documentation requirements
  • Support sales calls, demonstrate the product to new leads
  • Be an adept communicator and proven listener to assist in initial discovery in a consultative sales environment to help the ONWARDS Technical & Creative staff to understand prospect needs
  • Product Development Liaison - Work with Solutions Engineering in creating demos of new features, and training sales and marketing on new features and value proposition to customers
  • Provide input to the product team about what customers and prospects are saying
  • Marketing Support - Maintain demo kit inventory for all product lines, ensuring that all units work without fail, every single time. The shipping, tracking and return of loaner demo unit inventory including the testing of units upon return
  • Maintain up-to-date library of ONWARDS Solutions and all feature/function for use by sales and marketing
  • Attend tradeshows and be responsible for the setup and breakdown of booth materials.
  • Be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to travel both in the USA & to Asia up to 40%

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, preferably in an IT related field
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 3-5+ years experience in a streaming video software environment
  • Proven track record of success in sales support capacity over a sustained period
  • Solid understanding of OTT, Streaming Video market place and their solutions

Technical Requirements:

  • Specific video related experience
    • Video Streaming - protocols RTMP, RTSP, HLS
    • Encoding - offline and live, such as H264, H265, mp4, FLV, MOV,...
  • CDN and networking
  • Enterprise systems and integrations using RESTful APIs
